Aamir Khan To Collaborate With Netflix For A Multi-Project Deal?
All thanks to the lockdown and theatres being shut, makers of Bollywood films are turning towards OTT platforms to release their films. From Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2, Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb, Vidya Balan's Shakuntala Devi to Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl - many Bollywood films are soon to release on OTT platforms. As a cherry on the cake, Netflix recently announced 17 originals that will release in India soon. Adding to this is the report stating that Aamir Khan may join hands with Netflix for a multi-year deal.

As per a report in Peepinmoon.com, Netflix is in talks with Aamir Khan for the past six months for a multi-project deal. As per this deal, the OTT giant wants Aamir Khan to produce a film and three shows under his production house banner - Aamir Khan films. Though there has been no confirmation from either side, we won't be surprised if the deal actually materialises considering the current situation of the film industry under the COVID-19 crisis.

Talking about Aamir Khan's upcoming projects, the actor is to be seen in a film called Laal Singh Chaddha. Helmed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks' film Forrest Gump. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in a pivotal role. The film was supposed to hit the theatres by the end of this year, however, reports have it that the release of the film has been delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

Not just Laal Singh Chaddha, many films like Sooryavanshi, Coolie No 1, 83' and others that ready to hit the screens have suffered a delay. (Also Read: When Virat Kohli Admitted That He Is Just 11th Pass And Aamir Khan Is 12th Pass - WATCH
